Community Impact

Hugging Tree Legacy serves as a community capacity catalyst, aggregating
resources, seeking funding, and providing technical and start-up assistance to
programs that align with its mission. It also serves a convening function,
bringing together community members, funders, farmers, artists and activists
to address the spectrum of community needs, including food, farm-based
learning, housing, job training, a container for social-enterprise, and a safe
space for the BIPOC community to gather for social and political power. In
fellowship with generous donors and community partners, Hugging Tree
Legacy stewards charitable funds that support place based social change.
