Our Story

Hugging Tree Legacy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was founded in
2016. Much like that of a big leaf maple, a diverse community may be found
within our branches.

Hugging Tree Legacy was started to facilitate a way for 100% of donor dollars
to go toward needs identified in the community. Hugging Tree Legacy’s
expense ratio remains under 7%.

In fellowship with generous donors and community partners, Hugging Tree
Legacy stewards charitable funds that support place based social change in
the areas of art, education, and community.
