Up-cycled Cottage 

Re:Generosity is a solutions-oriented, interdisciplinary art project that is focused on reducing the waste stream through creative means of our human built environment.

Phase Four of the creative “trash” based project is the design and construction of a multi-use community space.  Depending on the community’s needs at the Re:Generosity Community Space site, the mobile structure will serve various uses including housing for teachers who work at Shy Acre Farm facilitating outdoor educational programs. 

It could also serve as an artist in residence / exhibition / presentation / performance space at the farm.  We are aiming to grow a purposeful holistic community that serves to reconcile the need for re-purposed space.  At the same time, this space serves the environment by carefully designing and crafting construction of space with a mindful and conscientious framework.  The intent is to inspire a socially concerned movement throughout communities far and wide with a futuristic hopeful lens forward, learning is part of the growing processes of repairing in all aspects of life.
